An overseas client called us in at different times over a 2 year period to help him update his apartment in a prime location in Sea Point. Our first order of works was to take one bathroom and a guest loo and turn it into TWO usable bathrooms – Hence the name of the site! I was determined to get this challenge not only right but to knock it out the park! And that we did. There was a toilet bathroom and then a bathroom with a shower and basin. The client wanted an Ensuite bathroom and a guest bathroom. So – the old toilet area became the shower for the guest bathroom and we borrowed some space from the main bathroom and old entrance to the bathroom for the new toilet in the guest bathroom. We made a new entrance to the Ensuite bathroom by reconfiguring the BIC in the main room and managed to create a substantial space for the new Ensuite bathroom – incorporating a walk-in shower, a toilet and basin and some storage! A huge success and challenge victoriously accomplished!! 

We were then called in to redo the kitchen that was a very dated cream melamine with wood look tops. He if we could also revamp his living areas – but we must use his couch. The kitchen was completely reconfigured as we designed more efficient storage and cabinetry as well as replacing all the appliances.  All finishes chosen are durable and beautiful adding to the sophistication and style. All these beautifully functional elements were then complimented with accessories and furnishings that were not only gorgeous but once again durable for when he let the apartment out while he was back in Europe.  We even added a little of Africa in on his request. 

We were called in one last time to finish up by giving his main room and guest room a cosmetic makeover with paint and soft furnishings. 

This apartment most definitely went from drab to fab – a sophisticated space to relax in and enjoy!
