I had completely furnished these clients rental home in Rondebosch to be move in ready on their return back to South Africa from the UK, so when they bought their forever home in Constantia, they called me up to help get the ball rolling with easy changes. It’s a more traditional home set in a beautiful leafy garden and the couple enjoy the traditional finishes in and of the home. My quest was to give them this while also bringing in some contemporary elements in between the inherited pieces.  

The brief to start off was to revamp the two kids rooms, the formal lounge / dining room (for mom and dad to escape) and the family living room. 

We made cosmetic changes only in these spaces using paint, colour, texture and lighting to shape the spaces along with carefully chosen accessories. 

The Girls room was based from a beautiful photo of her on the beach at Sunset in Mauritius while the boys room was based on his absolute love for the bush.  

Happy to say all four family members were thrilled with their changes!
